Installation

This guide covers installation for both macOS and Windows. Choose your operating system below.

macOS Installation

Step 1: Download the Application

  1. Download the FabriXWork ZIP file from the provided link
  2. Save it to your Downloads folder (or preferred location)

Step 2: Unzip the File

  1. Double-click the ZIP file to extract its contents
  2. You should see the FabriXWork application file (FabriXWork.app)

Step 3: Move to Applications Folder

  1. Drag the FabriXWork.app file to your Applications folder
  2. Alternatively, keep it in your preferred location

Step 4: First Launch & Security Warning

If you see this message: On first launch, macOS may show a security warning:

To open the app:

  1. Click OK on the warning dialog
  2. Go to System Settings → Privacy & SecurityMacOS System Settings
  3. Scroll down to find the security message about FabriXWork
  4. Click Open Anyway
  5. Confirm by clicking Open in the dialog

Step 5: First Login

  1. Launch FabriXWork from Applications (or your chosen location)
  2. Enter your organization ID (provided by your administrator) Log In
  3. Enter your credentials (provided by your administrator)
  4. You should see the welcome dashboard Dashboard

Windows Installation

Step 1: Download the Application

  1. Download the FabriXWork ZIP file from the provided link
  2. Save it to your Downloads folder (or preferred location)

Step 2: Unzip the File

  1. Right-click the ZIP file
  2. Select Extract All...
  3. Choose a destination folder
  4. Click Extract

Step 3: Run the Installer

  1. Navigate to the extracted folder
  2. Double-click the installer file (FabriXWork Setup.exe or similar)
  3. Follow the installation wizard prompts

Step 4: Install Dependencies (If Prompted)

Note: FabriXWork may require certain dependencies to run properly.

If prompted to install Python:

  • Python is required for some agent functionalities
  • The installer will guide you through the Python installation
  • Accept the default settings unless you have specific requirements
  • You may need to restart your computer after installation

If prompted for other dependencies:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions
  • Accept the license agreements
  • Use default installation paths

Step 5: First Login

  1. Launch FabriXWork from Applications (or your chosen location)
  2. Enter your organization ID (provided by your administrator)
  3. Enter your credentials (provided by your administrator)
  4. You should see the welcome dashboard

Common Setup Issues

macOS Issues
